  • This update has been around for months. It did not just come out this weekend. In addition, there seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding about the social networking functionality.

  • I don't blame you all at all--in many ways, I agree--but there is a definite convenience factor to having so many books at your fingertips in a device that isn't super-awkward to carry.

  • Having been an Applecare customer, you are wrong. Apple did screw up royally with their treatment of the iPhone 4's reception issues (a definite and major design flaw), but they tend to treat their customers well and I've only ever gotten top-notch customer and technical support.

  • Substantize, I think, might only be understood by a subset... The only reason it made me think of nominalize is the Spanish word for noun--sustantivo.
